01Scope and operating principles

AustinPRAR is an Austin, Texas technology public relations and analyst relations practice working with organizations worldwide. AustinPRAR collects only information reasonably needed to answer inquiries, schedule and conduct consultations, secure the website, operate the private administration system and provide requested services.

02Information collected

AustinPRAR does not intentionally request payment-card data, government identifiers, medical information, precise geolocation or information about children through this website. Please do not place sensitive or confidential information in a public form unless AustinPRAR has agreed on an appropriate secure channel.

03How information is used

• Respond to a project inquiry and evaluate a potential engagement.
• Reserve, administer, update or cancel a consultation.
• Send confirmations, calendar invitations, meeting information and configured transactional reminders.
• Maintain private operational records and an accountable history of communications.
• Prevent spam, replay attacks, credential abuse and other misuse.
• Diagnose delivery, integration, availability and security problems.
• Comply with applicable law, protect rights and enforce the website terms.

When a formal client relationship exists, additional information may be processed under the applicable engagement agreement and client instructions.

04Cookies and local browser storage

The public forms use essential, first-party session cookies to support CSRF protection, one-time form tokens and booking confirmation state. The private admin center uses an essential authentication session cookie. These cookies are not advertising cookies.

The customizable Newsroom stores widget choices in your browser’s localStorage. Those preferences remain on that device and are not transmitted to AustinPRAR as a visitor profile. You can remove them with the Newsroom reset control or by clearing browser data.

AustinPRAR does not currently operate third-party advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral tracking on this website. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those technologies are enabled.

05Sharing and service providers

Personal information is disclosed only as reasonably necessary to operate the requested service, protect the platform or comply with law. Relevant categories of recipients may include:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and deliver the website and its private records.
• Email providers used for authenticated transactional delivery.
• Calendar or meeting providers such as Google, Microsoft or Zoom, only when the related integration is enabled or you choose that meeting method.
• Professional advisers or authorities when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention or protection of rights.
• A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or transfer of the practice, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice obligations.

The administrator’s AI editorial studio is a private, separately initiated workflow for authorized briefs and sources. Public inquiry or booking data is not automatically sent to an AI model.

06Retention and security

Inquiry, booking and operational records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, administer the relationship, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and satisfy legal obligations. Retention varies with the nature of the communication and whether an engagement results. Records may be archived rather than kept in an active work queue.

AustinPRAR uses measures designed for the sensitivity of the data, including TLS transport, authenticated email delivery, access-controlled administration, one-way password and token hashing, private storage outside the public web root, CSRF and replay defenses, rate limiting, security headers, integrity monitoring and restricted provider credentials. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

07Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to ask whether AustinPRAR processes your personal information and to request access, correction, deletion or a portable copy. You may also have rights concerning targeted advertising, sale or certain profiling; AustinPRAR does not currently conduct those activities with website-submitted personal information.

Send a request from the email address associated with the information to joe@austinprar.com with the subject “Privacy request.” AustinPRAR may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Some information may be retained where permitted or required for security, legal, recordkeeping or dispute-resolution purposes.

If a request is denied, you may reply and ask for the decision to be reviewed. AustinPRAR will not discriminate against you for making a good-faith privacy request. Texas residents can learn about state privacy rights from the Texas Attorney General ↗.

08Children, international visitors and changes

This business-to-business website is not directed to children under 13, and AustinPRAR does not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child submitted information, contact AustinPRAR so the record can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

AustinPRAR operates from the United States. If you submit information from another country, it may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

This policy may be updated when services, providers or legal requirements change. Material revisions will be posted here with a new effective date.
